the wrongful villainization of anders after dragon age 2 is directly linked to vivienne's writing as being a staunchly pro-circle character in dragon age inquisition. btw. and i think we must keep this in mind when we talk about her. dragon age inquisition pulled back HARD when it came to the mage/templar war in an effort to completely villainize what anders had done, ensure that no one could find him sympathetic, and tried to 'both sides' the conflict in attempting to present it as more gray and ended up failing in this attempt, at least imo. this centrist, toothless turn in writing that so blatantly points the finger at the mages reflects highly in vivienne's own characterization. and we must keep this in mind when talking about her beliefs and politics.

sometimes i wonder what would have happen if jungbae told gihun about youngil killing that player and if that would make gihun become suspicious of him.

and honestly, i dont think it would.

simply bc gihun has already seen a man he trusts and cares about, a man he holds in high esteem, be completely torn apart by the games - sangwoo.

gihun knows what the games do to people, even the most kind-hearted and level-headed of them.

he would be upset at youngil for murdering someone, like he was at sangwoo, but i don't think he'd hold it completely over him. mainly bc gihun doesn't have the bond with youngil that he did with sangwoo (and thus this switch in character wouldn't seem so abrupt), but also bc he knows youngil has a sick pregnant wife at home who needs the money.

gihun trusts people. he believes they can make the right choices. so he would reiterate to youngil that he has money at home he can help pay for his wife's treatment. and inho's manipulative ass would pretend like gihun's words have placated youngil, so that gihun trusts him more.

(but also, what a blow it would be for inho, to have literally killed someone and have gihun still believe in him. he wants to show gihun that people are jaded and cruel, but now he's wondering if he can even do that anymore. gihun's heart is huge and his compassionate is never-ending it seems. maybe inho would start believing that gihun would be capable of forgiving him, like he forgave youngil.)

its so interesting to me how everyone is like man kris must HATE tenna in like the same exact way people were saying kris must hate ralsei like idk . i think kris is going through a lot and they just feel awkward. they dont even seem to hate asgore despite the way hes just so. um. asgore. idk if they necessarily LIKE tenna in chapter 3 but i sure doubt they fr hate him

Tbh we don't know enough about Dae-ho to be able to say wether he was out of character in season 3 or not. He's obviously at least to some degree been dishonest and has been acting in a way that isn't fully true to himself. I'm not saying that Dae-ho is a lying asshole who can't be trusted. But we haven't seen him in a situation like this before. We don't Know if he would actually react like that when confronted about something that he feels guilty for. Dae-ho has been lying to us as an audience just as much as he lied to the other players. We don't know how much of him is truely him and how much is a facade that he built for himself to fit in and not be ridiculed by others. I assume mostly Dae-ho has been acting as himself. But then again, when it comes to him in season 3, he probably had to be really defensive and careful for many many years to avoid the shame he feels for not living up to his family's and society's expectations. Tbh of course Dae-ho got a blue vest in the game but tried to exchange it for a red one. He has been running and defending himself for so long and because that's hard and exhausting he tries to go offensive. And I think that is also reflected in how his confrontation with Gi-hun goes.

So I think it's not really about wether his actions are out of character and more about what Dae-ho's character really Is. We know so little about him but I feel like there is so much thought put into his backstory and the way he acts and it is in my opinion a really interesting arc and a really interesting character to analize

i think you guys misunderstood the whole fantasy thing in saiki k... if having silly, out of character fantasies and misunderstandings about saiki means you dont know or understand him then the psychickers dont understand him either...

Bad End: The Fall

Summary: It's my Hound!MC Alon's birthday, so I made some sketches of them and Mhin based on the scene from Transformers One! For context, the idea is that Vere has gotten himself free and went on a rampage in the Senobium, slaughtering students and clerics alike, and destroying the labs and archives, along with all hope of finding cures for Mhin and Alon's respective curses. In the midst of the massacre, Vere finally made Mhin lose control of the monster within them and they have transformed into a crow monster hybrid. There is a brutal and bloody fight between them but Mhin has finally defeated Vere and is about to kill him, when Alon, their partner, stops them.

“What are you doing?”

“It’s over. He lost.”

“So did we! We lost everything because of him — I have to do this!”

“No, you don’t. Look at him, he's down. He's no longer a threat.”

“He needs to die! Can’t you see that?”

When she finally gets out of fire she can’t help but collapse at the base of a tree to rest in the forest. What she doesn’t expect is to wake up to a circle of dogs and white haired kids staring at her with wide eyes.

So like most Links have An Object that’s associated with their game that doesn’t work well with the others—ie, what turns Twilight into a powerful wolf effectively reawakens a cursed form for Legend. I think it’d be funny if this negative impact happens for all of their gimmick objects… and specifically to Legend. Like if Legend tries playing the Ocarina of Time or using the Wind Waker or wielding the Four Sword it just slaps him with a negative consequence. Turns him into a baby without changing where he is in time. Whips up an uncontrollable tornado that drops him at a random place around the map. Creates doppels but without actually splitting his perspective so he can’t command them all at once and at least one is always just flopped over. He doesn’t DIE but he has a terrible time of it any time he tries to “borrow” an item without asking.

And of course the others are concerned but also giving him the side eye a little bit because “oh you get onto us for touching YOUR stuff but thought you’d be ok trying out the Sheikah Slate without asking? Enjoy being stuck in stasis for the next hour.”

people trying to say that trans/nonbinary representation in veilguard is the worst thing thats happened to the trans community in the last half a year (im exaggerating here but u get my point) need to sit down and ask themselves a couple of questions.

1. Are you nonbinary? If not, do you know someone who is? Have you talked to them about their experiences and what its like to not fit into the strict gender binary that permeates our society on almost every level?

2. Do you think that your experiences are universal?

if you answer no and yes in that order, then i'm going to have to ask you to please put the keyboard aside and go do some self-reflection.

Because frankly. I'm kind of starting to get sick of seeing binary people try to talk about this while completely not understanding the experience and also thinking that their personal perspective is the only true and correct one.

Like, the amount of times ive seen people COMPLETELY misinterpret the scene with Taash and Neve talking in the dining room is ridiculous.

this is the sort of project that I end up procrastinating for a good time and has to Lock-In once the deadline starts to aproach but thanks goodness I was able to finish this in time.

the idea never really went beyond a weird collage. Nothing really connected, a certain chaos to it. It wasn't really cohesive, but I think it still works. And I like the way things were organized (at least, organized in the best way for a project like this).

you could argue that the chaos in this drawing is a good representation of the nature of SOTM and its updates.

Riley is the only part of the drawing done traditionally. Not really confident that I could execute the idea exactly well in digital. It still works well. And doesn't look too out of place with the rest,at least for me.

I'll want to post the background stuff separately and without the filters/lights. So people can see it better and so that the details I added to them don't go to waste. (This goes for Ink Demon and especially Dumdy).

today was… weird. I feel weird, ngl. But despits what my head says, I'm glad I did this drawing. I'm glad I finished it and posted it. And I hope you like it too.
